The Counseling Center of Bucks County is a private, non-profit counseling center which provides a full range of psychotherapeutic, educational, and consultative services to the people of the greater Bucks County area. From its beginnings as the Human Growth Center in 1978, The Counseling Center has been committed to providing needed psychotherapeutic services to the Greater Bucks County community. OUR SERVICES

The clinicians at The Counseling Center are dedicated, expert therapists who volunteer their service out of a sense of love and personal mission. The clinicians of The Counseling Center are able to provide the following services.

Adolescent Counseling

Managing emotional stress related to personal issues, relationships, work, or school can frequently be an overwhelming challenge for teens and adolescents.

Bereavement Counseling

Grief counseling is a form of psychotherapy that aims to help people cope with grief and mourning following the death of loved ones, or with major life changes that trigger feelings of grief.

Divorce Counseling

The aim of divorce counseling is to help individuals adjust to their new lives, and process the negative after-effects of the separation on all aspects of their lives.

Child Therapy

The Counseling Center is committed to the principle that all children have equal access to a full array of mental health services.

Psychological Testing

Psychological tests are used to assess a variety of mental abilities and attributes, including achievement and ability, personality, and neurological functioning.

Pastoral Counseling

Our certified pastoral counselors, with theological training, can be particularly helpful for patients experiencing loss, terminal illness, or conflicts regarding religious beliefs.

Located in Holland, Bucks County, PA, it is led by a community-based volunteer board of directors and outstanding clinicians from a variety of mental health professions. The Counseling Center offers its clinicians on a sliding scale/ability-to-pay fee basis.

Both day and evening appointments are available.

Weekend appointments are very common, our hours are very flexible to fit a modern, busy schedule.
